Good Eye is Marion Lanktree and Carly Waito.

We provide a full scope of decorative and design services for interiors, including research and image-based concept narrative development, FF&E and accessories selections and procurement, art direction, interior styling and the design and coordination of custom elements such as tableware, accessories, rugs, textiles, art and special finishes.

Harnessing the strength of our combined experience in interior design, product design, art consulting, styling, ceramics, and fine art, Good Eye brings a uniquely specialized yet comprehensive range of expertise to add essential layers of depth and detail to any project.

Good Eye offers a refined and artistic perspective. Our approach is thoughtful and considered, built on a narrative foundation which is grounded in a sense of the location and unique character of each project or client. 

Marion Lanktree, Founding Partner

Marion graduated in 2007 with degree in Material Art & Design from OCAD University and has since completed a Master’s Degree in Design from Carleton University and an AAS in Interior Design from Parson’s in New York. Her interdisciplinary perspective and passion for craft, art and design have been expanded and refined through diverse professional experience as an interior designer and art consultant with firms in Toronto and New York. In her most recent position, as Manager of the Toronto and New York Decorative Arts Teams at Yabu Pushelberg, she led and collaborated on a wide range of projects. Lanktree brings this extensive experience and highly-trained eye to her role as co-founding partner at Good Eye.

Carly Waito, Founding Partner

Carly has a diverse background of creative experience, bridging the worlds of design, fine art and craft which has enriched and honed her design process and aesthetic sensibilities. She graduated in 2005 with a degree in Industrial Design from OCAD University and has had extensive experience working in galleries and as a painter and ceramicist. Working as a Decorative Arts designer at Yabu Pushelberg provided an opportunity to combine her full range of skills to contribute to diverse interior design projects and product development. In addition to her role as co-founding partner of Good Eye, she has an active ceramics practice focused on small-scale functional and decorative wheel-thrown pottery.
